No Delivery yet!! Wish we never choose telkom

My wife open a Contract over the phone at telkom. Reason being, the phones we wanted was out of stock at The telkom branch in the mall. And they could not confirm when they will receive it.

We phoned, telkom directly. And they said they have stock. After a 1 hour & 30 min long phone call to open a contract over the phone to get the special before it ends. The consultant said. We will receive the phones via courier.

This was last week thursday. On monday we phoned again to get a ref number to follow up if there is a problem. So my wife asked where are the two phones on that moment for tracking.

The consultant said it is now in the couriers hand, they recieved it. That was on monday morning.

Its thursday today. One week after opening the contract. And 4 days later when the courier company recieved our phones.

We still did not recieve an sms, nor a phone call to say its heading our way. How could a courier company have the goods for 4 days and still not ship it yet? I mean Takealot is max two days of you purches goods in the surrounding area. Cellc upgraded my pocket router over the phone and in 2 days after renewing my contract over the phone I recieved it as well? Im bases in kempton park. Very central actually.

This leaves a bitter taste in our mouths, firstly no stock at the store, going home spending a long while on the phone with Telkom to do a contract over the phone. Because head office have stock?

Is this why your stores dont have stock? Using the same courier for deliveries?

This is quite irritating.
