No compliance

I am an existing customer and I would like to raise a formal complaint due to my terrible experience with telkom

I went in store on 13/01/2020 and had my application done for phone contracts, I was advised that I would get a notification sent with in 2-3 days for confirmation if it was approved or declined. By the 16th Jan no notification was received as it was promised by the salesman (Shamiel in the promenade branch)

I then called through on the 16th Jan and spoke to an agent (Tony) who was friendly throughout the call , he advised me that the application was approved and that I should go in store to have the shipping done so that they could get the phones I app**** for

I then rushed my way through to the branch cause I needed to have this done before my shift started . When I got to the store and spoke to the same salesman and was told my application was declined

I felt disappointed and so embarrassed not only was I mislead but I had to take time out of my day to go in store and wasted funds on having to call in and go in store

The salesman then told me that they would re-issue the application and reassured that I would get a notification by the 17th Jan. Which did NOT happen for the second time

I then called through the 17th Jan and was told that I would get a call from a high level agent who would contact me back . Which was NOT done

I then called through the 18th Jan and spoke to another agent who advised that the system shows it was cancelled for the application done on the 13th and that they are waiting on the shipping ! Where was the confirmation ? Even she was confused

Yet again I wasted my time and money to go into store . To be told by a salesman that she's gonna be quite frank with me to why they declined my application

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the Service through out the journey and to be mislead at the end of the day

Further action would be taken if complaint is not attended to with in promise time scale

This was sent to a manager on the 28th Jan Yet no acknowledgement
