No clue, just wasting time
I got a call from a Thumelo Ramazhuya last night (yes last night!) still unsure of the issue I am having that stated when lock down started! I have made the issue clear to Telkom and the investigator who was out at my house doing tests, yet you are still unsure?? How?? Please see below my email sent with all necessary info, allowing a stranger into my home during lock down, where are you doing your part to give me my money back?! Besides wasting my resting time of the day...
Hi There
I app**** for a Telkom sim card on Tuesday the 24th March just before lock down. I had issues from the get go having to return to the store to reactivate on the same day. I bought an initial 5GB (Anytime) and 5GB (Night surfer) on the same day for R99 to test, and once home it seemed to all be working.
On Thursday the 26 March I proceeded to upload with 60GB (Anytime) and 60GB (Night surfer) for R 459. While on zoom calls or just browsing I get an error message saying "Internet access paused, either your data bundle is depleted or you're not in Telkom's coverage". I checked coverage with Telkom prior and tested on my device as explained.
I further went through many calls with technicians setting up roaming settings and other suggestions they had. I was pressured as my work does not stop, so I have had to pay my neighbour to use their Comptel Fibre, incurring double costs to myself in a trying time (lockdown). I was unable to securely use the data bought from Telkom and would like to receive a refund regarding this, a rebate won't help as I cannot use this and already have another plan (took Telkom almost 3 months to come out).
Please let me know if you have any further queries and see attached-screen shots of proof/issues had.
