No after sales care
I bought a modem via telephone from Dikeledi Maropeng at Telkom, and it was delivered but then I noticed that they are not debiting for the modem as indicated on my application form that they should debit end of every month, my banking details attached. I am not getting joy as the sales lady doesn't seem to know what to do to assist me. My bill is piling up every month and it's frustrating. I need someone to take over this case as my only contact (unfortunately) has been failing me, after several attempts to follow up on my account. I havethe trail of communication via e-mail.

20 Nov 2017, 16:27I am still not happy, nobody could help me. I also got one e-mail from Telkom saying I owe them about R2000!
As per the sales person(Dikeledi Maropeng) who failed to assist after several attempts, she said I should call your centre at 081180, three people I spoke to, said the account has been captured wrong from the beginning, and that they can't make any changes, and that my account has been terminated. They said I should go to any Telkom store next to me.
My account is captured as a business, with the address where I work. I never received any post with a statement at my personal address, and I was captured as preferring to pay with EFT. All these is contrary to the form I submitted. The sales person who did the contract for me also couldn't fix this mess.
I got to Kolonnade store, where again they failed to assist me saying they are just a franchise, and can't help me. Telkom people clearly don't know what they are doing. I am considering handing this to my lawyers for legal advise.

18 Jan 2018, 15:38My case got "attended" to by Loshni Naidoo, who just brushed off the matter, without doing an investigation. Still no one has taken any responsibility for this mess. How can capturing a simple application form be rocket science? And I get to pay for someone's illiteracy.
I will ensure that everyone in my circle knows how unprofessional and *********** Telkom staff are.
