No after sale service

I have recently signed up with 24 month contract with Telkom Mobile, much to my regret . Here is a warning to any persons considering signing up. My experience and issue as described below are genuine. I honestly feel I have a moral responsibility to warn others before they get involved with this company. They may be cheaper but their after sales service is virtual nonexistent. My problem started when I went to a Telkom Branch where I live and requested 100 mins extra outside of Telkom calls to be added to my contract. The lady who assisted made an error and added an additional 200. When I pointed this out , instead of removing the 200 mins she added a further 100 mins. Now I am trying to have the 200 mins removed. I realized that dealing with this branch would exacerbate my problem and then tried phoning, emailing and messaging Telkom to rectify the issue. Its virtually impossible to speak to a human and on the few occasions that you do so, you get redirected back to an automated voice messaging system or they blatantly tell you they are unable to assist. E mails services are not answered. The “talk to us facility” on their site where you type your issue and Telkom type back a response works infrequently, it invariably bombs out before you are finished or only part of your message is relayed. I have been trying to get a very minor issue resolved over the past 2 weeks. Every day I try and alternative method but I hit a wall on every occasion. It seems you can’t even complain and the one site that allows complaints is the very site where emails don’t get answered. So it seems they are not even trying to improve services. I now feel they are in breach of the contract but how do you discuss, deal with or cancel it. There is no way you can do it, Telkom has NO SERVICES outside of the very basic mainstream communication systems they offer and even those are dysfunctional. I am told Telkom are in financial trouble, I can see why. I am also with Vodacom and was with cell C and they are and were very responsive and I am told that MTM are also good. Please my advice is stay away from Telkom, they will try your patience beyond belief.
