No ADSL service for over 3 weeks

Our Financial Services Provider business runs its Gauteng back office from Randfontein, where there has been no ADSL service for over 3 weeks. Yes, our line is rented via an ISP (Posix) but Telkom remains in breach by failing to deliver a contracted service... while still charging!!

No answers can be obtained from Telkom Call Centre's or 'client business managers' - where to from here?Jacqui O'Sullivan, Telkom's head of group communications, indicated via press in MyBroadband and elsewhere this week that \Telkom has begun a pilot project to switch its subscribers in Randfontein from a fixed-line network to wireless services.\"

So what service will it be - 3G or LTE? When will it be available? What happens in the mean time?

This is no way for a national monopoly to run the business backbone of any country.

How do clients get feedback, and compensation for lost time, money and client service?

Shame on you Telkom !

"
