NO ADSL service for over 2 months now!

My landline is with Telkom and my service provider is Axxess (8 Mb uncapped Combo). Since the (3rd of November 2016) the internet speed is horrible in a way i can't even brows a page OR competely off!

According to Telkom the problem is in the pole that provides the area i live in, and the pole is located in one the houses in my street! And their techncians can't get access to it as they can't have the house's owner available to give them access!

Telkom isn't giving an answer when they'll ever rectify this fault, and they're not telling me if they're even considering removing the pole to accessable point where it can be fixed once and for all. I've had enough of empty answers, and after 60+ days of waiting i want to know 1) WHEN you will rectify this fault. 2) Or when you will remove the pole and rectify it.

i can't continue to pay over a R1000 every month between Telkom and Axxess and receive no service or even an answer when i'll have my internet back. So i'm only giving it a maximum of 2 days ****il the 10th of Jan) for someone to get back to me with HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD ANSWER, or i'll be cancelling all my services.

Dear Moenieb
A Telkom’s technician just visited my house earlier today, and he’s done exactly what many other technicians tried before during the past 2 months and it proven over and over again to NOT be a solution (the house owner where the pole is located is not available). During the past 2 months there were many other technicians whom tried to solve the issue the very same way and it’s time for Telkom to realize that this is not a solution.
I believe that the ONLY solution for this problem is to have someone from Telkom with the capacity to make a decision to RELOCATE the pole contacting the house owner and inform them about this decision. This will encourage that house owner to say Yes, because it will also serve h/his interest by having no more Telkom’s technicians knocking at their door whenever there’s a faulty line in the area.
The mentioned house owner had actually placed a sign on his outside wall for Telkom Technicians, it reads as below (note that I’ve removed the house numbers from the message):
“Telkom Technicians – Access to the main Telkom pole can also be obtain from – house number & house number – Alternatively leave a message in the mailbox with contact details. No anauthorized access will be tolerated. Thank you”.
The problem isn’t with lines or poles (all of that could be fixed), nor in sending technicians (those guys I actually feel sympathy for them!), but it is in those with the capacity to take such bigger decisions at Telkom to remove the pole but they’re doing nothing!
I would’ve appreciated it if one of them cared to contact me, or read my complaints, or check the countless number of times I contacted the technical support. You see if one of them do contact me today with a true will to help solve this matter then I’ll be more than happy to give it little more time, but if that doesn’t happen then I will not think twice about cancelling the NO service and only bills by Telkom.
