No adsl for 2 weeks SM224556 167CRK090416

Still no adsl for 2 weeks now. Nobody knows what the problem is. It goes from a bulk problem to our line to a maintenance block with nothing being resolved and nothing being fixed. We don't get any feedback or updates on what the problem is or when it will be fixed. 167CRK090416

As per our email correspondence, the fault has been caused by theft, which unfortunately takes longer than a normal line fault to repair.

A escalation has been sent for a progress update and a possible estimated time of repair.

Sat 9th April, no internet connection, fault reported Mon 11th April, Apparently the fault is with the technician Wed 13th April, Apparently it is a bulk fault, and the underground cable needs to be repaired. Mon 18th April, Apparently the cable is replaced and service to resume on the 19th April. Fri 22nd April, Bulk fault resolved, but still no internet. Fri 22nd April, still no internet, technician to come out on Saturday. Sat 23rd April, technician comes out and says there is a maintenance block on our line, so he can't fix it. We have never put a maintenance block on our line. So, technician doesn't know what to do. Call center doesn't know what to do. Supervisor doesn't know what to do. Nobody at telkom knows what to do, apparently they haven't ever come across a problem like this before. And, since the technician came out, our phone line is also not working. Mon 25 April, No maintenance block, technician will confirm when coming out. It is confirmed that both internet and phone lines not working. It is not a bulk fault, since bulk fault was resolved. Mon 2 May, apparently it is another bulk fault. ****** cables. This is the timeline for the last few weeks where we have had no internet and voice line. One week it is a bulk fault, the next week the bulk fault is resolved, but our line still isnt working then it is another bulk fault. See why I am skeptical?
