No action on landline cancellation request after 2 months now, despite reporting!
<p>I sent in a cancellation notice for my landline number on 2 May to take effect on 31 May. As of 2nd July, it has still not been effected, despite my complaints through the regular channel and numerous emails promising action! What am I to do? I have moved out 2 months ago and still get my voice on the answering service when I call my old number?!!!</p>

This is a total joke if it wasn't such a disgrace!!! Another bill showing that the line has not been cancelled yet! 3 months now! Telkom Dispute Number ********** 2

Telkom received my request form with the required notice to cancel m...y landline service at the end of May. Subsequently, I have received 2 bills for June and July rental. When I call the old number, it still plays my voicemail message! I also have two reference numbers arising out of my calls to Telkom from my expensive cellphone calls! I have posted this complaint on the hellopeter.com website and was asked in a reply to supply more information to an email address given, which I did! I then posted a reply stating that nothing was done! Still no action, just two reference numbers, ********** 0 and ********** 2! I don't actually need another reference nuber, please just cut off the line and fix my bill so that I owe nothing! SIMPLE!!!

Big Joke! A caller left a message that cancellation cannot be done until my ISP has been informed. THEY were informed, and THEY did their job. At Telkom, the processes have been tangled in telephone wire!
