New Mobile Contract - BAD SERVICE

Telkom currently has the Huawei P9 lite @ R199pm advertised on their website. If you go there now it's still on the site.

I signed up for this contract at the beginning of January and was told I would need to wait a week for stock to arrive then I would get my phone.

It's two weeks later and now I am told they are out of phones and can't honor this contract. If I did not physcially drive to the store I would not even know that this is the case.

You can't call the store because that number get's diverted to a call centre and the damn store in Overport City , Berea, Durban doesn't even have the decency to call me to let me know whats happening.

As soon as fibre is available in my area I going to cancel my adsl and landline. I need to cut ties with a company that cannot honor their offerings. If the situation was reversed your lawyers would be hounding me to honor whatever was promised.

The man on the street is always the one getting the raw end of the deal when dealing with any large corporation in this country.

Reviewer Update

THank you Telkom for showing me how bad your service is. Thank you to Atish for making it plain to my daughter and I that he was upset that I complained about the service.

Thank you Atish for closing this complaint after leaving a voicemail on my phone because I was busy in meetings knowing full well that I cannot call him backon the number he called me from.

Everytime I needed an update I had to make time and drive to the store, you guys aren't going to re-imburse me for my time and fuel are you?

Anyway as I type fibre is being installed in my area and hopefully within the next two months I won't be giving you a cent of my hard earned money.

thank you telkom you saved from from a lot of hassles
