Neverending ADSL saga

I've had so many problems with Telkom of late. My ADSL keeps going on and off and coming back at different speeds. I pay for a 10Mbps line. It then went down and your call center told me that the line had been ceased. Later the call center told me that the line had been transferred to a TL Kriel and that I don't have a line. It then came back up and worked but only at 2Mbps. It then went off again and your very rude employee at Telkom Direct Whale Coast Mall told me that there's nothing wrong with our line and proceeded to log a fault against our business line which doesn't have a fault on it. When it came back the internet was working at 4Mbps instead of 10Mbps. It later transpired that the ceased line is in fact an old Pretoria number, cancelled years ago (I've been living in Herm**** for nearly 4 years now).

Can someone at Telkom please confirm:

1) Is the Herm**** residential telephone line still on my name? 2) Is there an active 10Mbps broadband service on it? 3) When can I expect my line to be functioning at its normal speed? I would actually want to upgrade the line to a 20Mbps connection as I need it for work. The current
