Never use Telkom, you will never be able to cancel

I have been trying to cancel my account with Telkom for 2 months now. You have to cancel a month in advance but any channel you use you can not get through. I tried on the portal and there was an error try again later. I tried this for two weeks and still not working. I tried the call back feature and someone called me back they supposedly cancelled my account but I did not get confirmation and when I tried to call back you end up in a never ending queue. I tried the callback again and someone called but said they could not help with a cancellation that needed to use the portal. I said I can't use the portal because it is always down and I sent the agent a screen shot of the error message, she subsequently hung up on me.
