Never their fault - January Bid Deal - Don't Order.

Below is a letter I wrote to the escalation centre at telkom.

I ordered the big deal January. I spoke to a MANAGER at your Durban call centre discussing options etc. I wanted to take another package for the same price at which time she told me rather take this option, it's the same but with extra stuff. We then agreed to the Big deal package. She was going to put that in order and send the stuff with an extra data sim card with 1 gig a month on it for me (which wasn't in the package either). Today i received everything except the wifi range extender.

I was not told that i am not in the first 5000 bracket.. I was told take this mam it much better mam. Now that i phone i am told, '' o we are out of stock and o, you are not within the first 5000 people mam''.

I do not believe you. You want to tell me you had more than 5000 people order this before the 5th of January????? I do not believe you. !!!

I can not use the rest if i don't have that extender. It is all totally useless to me. I therefor request either you send me the wifi range extender or you prove to me that there was 5000 people before me that ordered this product with telephone numbers so that I can confirm this fact with them.

Your adverti*****t says.... Free LIT_Tv Box + Free Wi-fi Range Extender to the first 5000 customers. nothing to do with new customers only, nothing like the one or the other. It says both. A customer would need both. !!! If I received the one thing free surely it would make logical sense that the other should still available aswell. I should not have received the LIT_Tv Box either if i wasnt within the first 5000 customers. What appalling service lying to your clients like that.

She assured me that I would be getting the LIT_Tv Box the extender and the data sim card with 1 gig free a month. I only to the LIT_Tv Box. Go listen to your tapes that you record the conversations with. You ow me the card and the extender. Or send me the prove as requested of the other customers. Also... FYI............ REMOVE THE STUPID ADD IF THE THINGS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.... OR.... you want more client to phone and complain about you service.???? Order things they will never get.???????
