NEVER TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH TELKOM!!!

Telkom is the worst! They are ****** and I won't stand for it.

I had two contracts since 2019 Feb and April respectively. I called in this year 4th February because the second number could not top up so I asked them to make it possible for me to top up. Then I told the agent whose username is MGUNIP to not renew when it lapses at the end of February. Then she asked if I also want to do the same for the second number which was due to lapse in April and I said yes. She then said she has done it and there won't be a need a need to call back as it will automatically cancel when it is due.

Fast forward to April, they deduct more than they should (as only the cellphone insurance was supposed to be left) and it bounced. I went to the store at Carnival Mall on 04 May and a lady there said she requested a call back. They did not call back. I went again on 19 May and spoke to someone called Zama Khathi and explained that they have been deducting more than they are supposed to because I informed them on 04 February not to renew the data deal. We went back and forth and I told them to send me the recording of the phone call I made with MGUNIP on 04 February but they were telling me that a judge needs to make that decision and blah blah blah. I told them until they give me that recording I won't be paying them and if according to the recording I am in the wrong, I am willing to pay what has been bouncing. I called again today after they sent an sms on 03 June saying my case has been resolved. I asked Xolile Dube for feedback and she said they said they are not going to credit the money they have been charging me for because I used the data and minutes they sent. I told them it's not my fault that they kept sending data after I told them to cancel it and data is not a physical product that I can put aside somewhere waiting for Telkom to take it back. I told them they must find the person who did not process the cancellation because they are the ones who were *********** in doing what they were supposed to do. As for me, I will keep reversing the debit order until they send the recording or they credit the money they charged me. i won't stand for incompetence and *****ed corporate greed and bullying. NEVER!
