Never sign a contract with Telkom they are malicious *******

My Telkom mobile internet contract ended. I phoned customer care to find out how to cancel my contract as it was now on month to month. The agent told me I simply needed to provide 30 days notice. I asked the agent can it be formally done over the phone and he said yes and proceeded to give me a reference number. However, the debit order was still being deducted for months after. I got my bank to stop the Telkom debit order and now I have some debt collector harassing me for years with the balance growing.

I am at my wits end with this organisation. The bad part is that they ruin your name. Surely, I can't the only person with this problem. We should all get together and sue them for giving us a bad name.
