Never choose Telkom as a service provider.

If I could give zero stars, I would have. The service is shocking and the prices are ridiculous. They cut your service off without warning for owing R174 after failing to notify you that your debit order limit is not sufficient to cover the amount owed. After spending R9000 over the last six months, they discontinued my internet service for the R29 per month I was unaware that I failed to pay. I have now settled the outstanding amount and terminated my services with Telkom, but I am unable to transfer to a new service provider as Telkom cannot issue me with a final invoice as they can only issue invoices on the 11th of each month despite me wanting to pay earlier in order for me to conclude all business with Telkom. This level of incompetency and lack of service delivery is a crying shame considering how expensive the services that Telkom offer is. It is also shocking that invoices cannot be generated when services are terminated. I regret having used Telkom as service provider for the last 5 year and had I known what I know now, I would never have spent my hard earned money on any services with Telkom. I would not recommend that anyone use Telkom's services and should they consider it, to think twice.
