Mysterious disappearance of data

So, the Telkom site for viewing data balances has been offline since the 19th March. It displays the page, however says it is unable to retrieve balances. Then suddenly yesterday, it tells me I'm out of airtime. Smacks fishy to me. Why can I not view my balances and what happened to my data?
