Mweb as bad as Telkom

I have had a Telkom Fibre line for almost a year now and from the beginning it was a nightmare. I need connectivity because I work from home and lose money if I am not connected. Two and a half weeks ago my line went down, I phone the call centre day after day and am told two things firstly they will escalate my case and secondly I must wait for a technician to call me. Two and a half weeks later the technician is yet to call. Eventually I spoke to possibly the only decent agent. He does some tests on line and tells me that my router is faulty. I take it to Telkom Westville Mall, the supposed Branch Manager helps me and is so unfriendly and he has to send my router away and that it can take 21 days. I said what must I do in the mean time. "Well that is our procedure" I am told. Needless to say I am still without internet. Guess what I received my Telkom statement the other day, on time and they debit every month on time. I am paying for a service that I am not receiving!!!

In my desperation I contact Mweb because I want to cancel my contract with Telkom. All goes well they ask me to pay R250 which I pay and am told it will take 5 - 7 days. I phone later to query the progress, I am told that Vumatel are having difficulty identifying my address can I send proof of address which I do immediately. I phone earlier this week to query because this is almost two weeks now. I am told they will "escalate" (same word as Telkom) and then I must expect a call from a Vumatel technician. Guess what?? Four days after my last call I still have not had my call and still no closer to getting internet.

Early yesterday morning, I apply at Vox Telecom and Afrihost. Guess what, not one of these companies have reached out to me to assist me. Two and a half weeks later I am still no closer to getting internet. I have reached out to 3 new service providers and it seems one is as bad as the other.

I NEED HELP, WHO CAN HELP ME!!!
