Some agent from Telkom come to my door with a promotion from Telkom, as a unemployed 58 year old, I needed reasonable and a reliable network provider that will suit my income, the promotion that was introduced, was for Wi-fi networking, with a rooter, the offer sounded ok for me, because it was plus minus R300 for the month unlimited, that's what was explained to me by the agent, so I signed the application, not long after that day, into the next week, I got a call from some lady, saying she's calling from Telkom, regarding my application for a Wi-fi connection, she ask me for security reasons to identify myself, and I gave her all my details, then she explained the reason for her call, asking me if someone will be at home to receive and sign for the SIM card, at that point, I didn't realise it's a additional SIM card for my phone, that wasn't explained to me by the agent. To cut the story short, my subscription is R500+, the first month was a late payment, and I got a reminder to pay R2,112.40 Due by 31Jul2020, if needed! I can Email 2 statements I have
