Moving a Telkom Telephone Line 2 blocks
On the 7th of November 2022 I asked Telkom to move my ADSL and landline from the old to new address where I was moving to in the Springbok , two blocks away. On the day of the move 23 days later still no feedback, calling them from the landline wich I still had. Only to be informed that they did not recieve such an order. I took a screenshot of the order on the 7th. Only to be told that I must book again. So I did. While talking to the lady she said that they do have fibre available and if I would be interested in. Wich I said will be fine so I ordered it for my new address in Springbok. On the 9th of December I called from my cell phone to find out whats taking so long. They didn't answer and said I should wait. Lo and behold on the 13th of December I recieved a call from the Installer. Great. Only problem is you are in the wrong town KURUMAN And this happened twice. Now trying to move my original line and adsl is a nightmare. Because they also want to move it to KURUMAN . I have sent them pin locations screenshots of maps. Finally the fixed the installation for the fibre 2 months after the initial request for the move. Installation 9 January 2023. But they still want to move the adsl to KURUMAN . And the best part of this is that they suggested the fibre because there is no adsl coverage in Kuruman. Really this is madness and not professional at all. How difficult is it to move a line in a town.
