<p>So Ive had 3 contract lines with Telkom from the 7th of June 2015,firstly,after a year of having the contract lines I migrated from a smart plan 50 to a smart plan 100 of which I asked the terms and conditions of me having to migrate and I was told nothing would change I would just have to pay R40 extra for both my lines on a monthly basis and I agreed,on my next debit order date an additional amount of R2000 was added onto my bill for I don't know what because I had just migrated and not changed devices,I was promised that the amount would be wavered and that never happened and I let it go,so now I decide to go in store for an early upgrade as my device is giving me problems,I get to store and I'm told my contract is only 11 months old,so since I migrated my contract initial start date changed and matched the one of the migration and I was never told this when I asked about the conditions of the migration so I was misled now I'm stuck with phones that are thought to be a year old when I've had them for two years,meaning,I'd have to remain with the same handset devices for 4 years
