Most painful ongoing experience with a provider
In Feb of this year 2017 I app**** through Web Africa for ADSL. After 2 months of waiting eventually my voiceline was installed (April), I called up Web Africa to ask them how to proceed now, to be told now the line must be converted to an ADSL, after many more months (June) of waiting I was eventually told that there are no ports available at the exchange for an ADSL line, I requested the account be cancelled completely both via filling out the cancellation form at a Telkom store in Clearwater, and directly to Web Africa as they were the ones who had made the Voiceline application on my behalf (I sent the Telkom application form to WebAfrica in February) Telkom has kept raising R189 each month and the R300 and something for admin fees or something like that. I do not want a voiceline and never wanted one my intention was to get ADSL I have no intention of ever using the voiceline that is required to have the ADSL, they can't provide me ADLS to which they have only woke up to long after they've been raising invoices since the beginning of the year, They have not canceled the account and keep raising invoices the latest of which stands at over R1500, I am unable to get hold of anyone on the phone to assist, even the number that was sent to me by TELKOM in a SMS demanding that I catch up my account or have my line suspended . I WILL NOT PAY FOR SOMETHING I HAVE NOT USED AND NEVER WANTED THEY COULDN'T PROVIDE ME INTERNET I AM NOT PAYING THEM FOR OTHER SERVICES!
