More than a month to install ADSL line in area with 10mb coverage

<p>I visited the Telkom store on 8th April to request ADSL installation. Adrian at the store told me it would take a week for verification and 7-10 days for installation. One month later they could only verify my location after I gave them the land line number of my neighbour. That was two weeks ago, not a peep from Telkom since. My area has 10mb availability according to the Telkom map. Why is this taking so long?? I am buring Rands on mobile data while I wait for Telkom to catch a wake up</p>
