Money ****.

I have been ****med in your name. A Debt collection agency called Nudebt contacted me pertaining to outstanding money that owe you. I figure I needed to pay up so I decided to give them half the money. A total of R 1500.00. To my horror, I find out that Nudebt are ******** and they are trying to bully me for the rest of the money days after I just gave them the first payment. Firstly, are you aware of this, secondly, What is my recourse ? I have acted in good faith and now I am in a bad situation. What do I do here ?
