Mobile Data not activated
Good day
I'm extremely disappointed with the service at Telkom.
On 14 August 2017 I ordered Telkom's Smart Internet 5GB promo for R149. I received the device on Tuesday, 22 August 2017. after setting up the device I called Telkom call centre on 23 August 2017 as the mobile data was not activated.
The call centre agent took the relevant details and told me that the data should be activated the next day i.e. 24 August 2017.
The data is still not activated. I called the Telkom call centre today (28 August 2017) and the agent tells me it will take 48 hours to activate!!!
It is more than 48 hours, why isn't the data activated! It is also very frustrating to be on hold for more then 30 minutes before being attended too.
If I knew that Telkom was going to be so unhelpful, I would never have signed up.
My case number is ********** 3. If this is not resolved by 31 August 2017, I want to cancel this deal and I never want to deal with Telkom again!!!
