Mixing of Customers Bank Details

I took up a contract with Telkom in October 2022. The agent who was assisting me captured someone else's banking details on my forms whilst he had my bank statement at hand. Took my gadgets and left the store. Fast forward to May 2023, my connection was disconnected. I called the call Centre and the agent told me that they were no funds in my account the debit order bounced, which ofcourse I found to be very absurd. I then called again a different explanation was given of that I canceled the debit order. Third time I was told that I am being debited on a different account. Told the agent that I only have one bank account and that bank statement is attached to my application. She told me to drive from Rosebank to Ferndale to request a printout from the store where I took up the contract . The manager at the store was livid by this action and said every Telkom employee can access documents online. After being sent from pillar to post, I then received an email saying I should pay R750 to have my connection restored. My issue here is ,it is a Telkom employee who made the error why am I paying for his sins and secondly who authorized my debit order? because clearly an agent cannot capture and authorize a debit order. I am so livid by the service the agents give at the call Centre there are very hostile and misinformed. Telkom is not taking responsibility for their negligence and expect me as customer to pay for such.
