Mistreatment from Telkom

Can I please request for a supervisor to call me back on *** for below case. You guys have reported me to your collections department knowing that my account with you is up to date. My agreed contract with you is R499.00 a month in which I pay via EFT every month on the 20th without you debiting my account the next day.

Your system accidently subscribed me to Telkom plus in which I never agreed to, and I know for a fact that you have no proof of me accepting this. When I saw my statement, I called your contact centre in which the girl I spoke to said that she will send this matter to your back office who will resolve it which you didn’t.

After I made my payment of R499.00 as usual you decided to charge me the Telkom plus in which I reversed it back because according to me I paid what I owe you. Then you pursued to threaten me via sms to send my account to the debts collector because I owe R155.

R499(paid 20 Sep) + 155(“owes according to you) = R654 Telkom plus in which you stated that it’s a system error but yet you are forcing me to pay off. This is theft and mistreatment at its best. I will be posting this on Hello Peter and taking it to the ombuds if matter is not resolved on your end.

This is not the first time I am going through this with you, I reversed what I didn’t owe you and you resolved the matter on your end without taking me to debt collectors or having me to pay the access amount due to a fault on your end. So, I don’t know if you are trying to be spiteful with this but honestly two can play this game. With me reporting it on hello peter just imagine how many more of your customers who are battling with the same issue are going to come out.

Please let me know when my contract ends because I don’t think I want to continue this journey with you. I have been a loyal customer always paying on time and because of your system having issues you are forcing me to pay you money I don’t owe you and risking my credit score going down.
