Misled by Telkom

On the week 07-13 November I was called by a lady named Ntokozo who was promoting a data contract from Telkom. The contract came with a Huawei Router and 12 gigs of data monthly for R99pm for 24 months. I accepted. The roeter was delivered on the 21st of November and I believe was activated the same day or the following day. I understood that I would be getting pro rata data as the month was almost over but to when I returned from a business trip in Cape Town I was no longer able to connect - this was 26/27 November - I was a bit concerned that the pro rata of 12 gigs lasted such a few days and decided to wait and see if I will be able to connect on the 1st of December. I was able to connect on the 1st of December but decided to call Telkom to find out how I could go about checking my balances. The person that was assisting me helped me create an online profile and to my shock I discovered that the contract was only 2 gigs a month during the day and the other 10 gigs I can only use from 00:00-07:00. I explained to her that this is not what I had been told when I took up the contract. She advised that I take the matter up with the person that had sold the contract to me. I then sent Ntokozo a Whatsapp message and her response was that she was going to call me the following day, she was sorry but she was sure she had explained this to me. I followed up with her on the second of December and asked her to send me the voice recording of our conversation. Her response was that her Manager had pulled it out and was going to e-mail it to me together with a cancellation form and I should not stress. On my Monday, the 5th of December the e-mail had still not come through, actually even now I still have not received it. I logged onto the Telkom website, went to contact us and wrote my complaint there. The automated response acknowledged my e-mail and indicated that the mail I had sent had also been copied to me- but this never came through and no one from Telkom had ever contacted me. On the 6th of December I sent Ntokozo a Whatsapp message indicating that she was leaving me with no choice but to lodge a complaint - she never rep****. On the 7th of December I went into hospital for surgery on my left hand and have beeen unwell ever since, thus I am only lodging this complaint today. The number for the said contract is ********** / account number 335 371 961. I can be contacted on ********** . As a first step I want to hear the voice recording because I believe Ntokozo did not inform me of the split in data, otherwise I would not have taken that contract.
