Misleading promotions

<p>Be extremely cautious with Telkom's promotional SMSs! Received a SMS stating that if you recharge with R100 or more, you'll receive 1GB free, which I've done and waiting for the 1GB! Called the Call Centre and was told by Patrick Pieterse (excellent service agent) that the SMS was wrong and I had to reply "yes" upon recharging with the funds still available, and then only I would receive 1GB free! NO WHERE on the SMS was it stated that I must reply "yes" after recharging and NO WHERE a link to view the T's & C's! THE SMS SAID "recharge with R100 or more", THAT WAS IT!! Second time I fall victim to Telkom's **** SMSs!! DONT FALL FOR THESE MISLEADING PROMOTIONS BY TELKOM!! Most pathetic provider in SA!</p>
