Misleading advertising

I received a Telkom flyer at a major traffic intersection in Port Elizabeth advertising a 5G Wifi modem at R99 per month (5G data per month). Upon visiting my nearest Telkom store at Baywest Mall in Port Elizabeth the same weekend, I was told that there is no stock (and that there will be no stock of the advertised device and deal). What then was the point of the glossy advertising flyer? Misleading and a misrepresentation.
