****ming client money even after contract has ended

This network is a **** that always out to eat people's money. I had a contract for minutes and data for R129. In Jan this year, when they tried to deduct they could not find the money. After 7 days I was called and told I now owe them R429 because I failed to pay the R129. I asked why would they charge me so much for lapsed payment. I was told that is what they charged for lapsed payment. I said ok and payed the money and asked them to please cancel the account because this is stupid and unheard of deduction. I was told if I want to cancel the contract I will have to pay R1800 cancelation fee since my contract with them only ends September 2025 another option is to wait until my contract end.

I decided to wait until the contract ends, problems happen and lapsing occurred again around July. I paid the R429 again with a painful heart. Fine September came I paid they deducted the last payment and I received a call from their agent telling me that my contract is due for renewal I clearly stated im not interested and I was called by 5 more different telkom egent to try and renew the contract I refused. Tell me why end of September 2025 Telkom deduct R129 from my account and I reversed the money and they deducted again.

Like that is not enough telkom further sent me a statement that I owe R429 for the month of September yet my contract ended on 5th of September 2025. I tried calling telkom and immediately I tell them im not interested in renewal of contract but I want to be canceled the agents drop the call.

Telkom is a money making schem once you sign a contract you are in for life. They went as far as telling me if I dont renew my contract my number will be disconnected. I had this number way before I even singed up for data contract, why is my number being disconnected.
