Midnight router games

To whom it may concern, I recently had to get a new wifi provider, due to neotel closing shop. I shopped around and finally settled with telkom. on 24th August 2019, i signed up for their 20GB day and 20GB night. Over the next few weeks, I noted that data was running out or had run out as the router would flash red. I then visited The Glen store on 5th October and didn't get much assistance as I was advised it's ONLY the CALL CENTRE that will be able to assist with reading and understanding of the internet usage report. I then asked her to log a case- ref ***1, I was told that SLA is 7 working days. I decided to call today as I cannot wait 7 working days to get this issue resolved as I'm left to purchase data while I'm on a data package with Telkom. While having a conversation with him, he advised that my data didn't switch from daytime to nighttime, I asked how will that be rectified, he advised that i need to wake up at midnight to reboot the router for it to go into night time data. This doesn't make sense to me, and was never communicated at the store when i signed up for the package, my understanding is that the router is sufficiently programmed to differentiate. I cannot remain on this contract for the next 24 months waking up at midnight to reboot a router. Telkom needs to rework my package, where I can get a NORMAL monthly package which doesn't have day and night variations, as will not pay R3169.00 (estimated by consultant who helped me today) to cancel this current package. This is really ****************, no wonder people are confused about their usage as they are not aware that router needs to be rebooted at midnight. Please refer to case number for my contact details to resolve this issue!
