Manager at Telkom Refuses to come out his office

I went to the Telkom Branch in Adderley Street this morning to enquire about the possibility upgrading my ADSL line and to see what deals Telkom was offering. I stood in the queue for approx 20 minutes and there was no movement. There is about 8 counters at this branch but only 3 were staffed. Two other were occupied by people who were fiddling with some computers and were totally disinterested in the queue in front of them. All i wanted was a few minutes with someone who could advise me on Telkoms products. I then approached a staff membey by the name of Monica to call the manager. She disappeared behind a door and reemerged a a few minutes later. She told me that, 'the manager cannot see you'. I asked 'Why?\ but she simply shrugged her shoulders. I requested his name. She informed me that he was a Mr Vernon Hendricks. I think that Mr Hendricks of the Adderley Street Branch of Telkom should spend a some times out of his office to see the frustrated customers in his shop."
