Macbook Air False advertising

For the past 5 months we have been trying to get the MacBook Air deal from Telkom, only to find that no branch ever has stock even though Telkom continuously keeps on advertising the deal. On 04/10/2017 we went to Telkom Greenstone to try again and get two of these deals only to be told they do not keep stock. After my husband spoke to the manager, Pamela Makamu, she phoned two other branches and requested the devices to be sent from there. The promised delivery date would then have been on Friday 06/10/2017. Up to now, no one at Telkom can tell us where the devices are or if they have even been shipped as yet.

I find it unacceptable and highly unprofessional for a company to advertise deals which they can not supply to the public. Even the staff at the Telkom stores or Call centers do not know how this deal works or how to get the required devices.

Please sort this out ASAP or I will be lodging a complaint of false advertising with the ASASA.
