LTE Parys

Telkom are roaming on vodacom network and vodacom has lte in my area... I received a sms from Telkom more than 5 weeks back I would get my new wireless phone soon, I am still waiting, I called Telkom fault reporting and asked when the phone will arrive, they let me know there is no lte reception in my area according to their coverage map, but surely this map is outdated as they are now on vodacom roaming network as they have coverage in my area. So why the delay with delivering the wireless phone..
