Local branch always out of stock

I know when I have a problem with my landline, the Pot filter will need to be replaced. Having lodged a fault I went to my local store to buy spares, because for some reason the technicians do not carry this vital piece of line splitting equipment. As usual, no stock - might get some this afternoon! The same applies to non-cordless phones, if by chance they have any in stock, they are cheap, lightweight excuses for telephones that skitter across the desk and make replacing the hand set , not an automatic action, but one that requires deliberate concentration to ensure it is seated properly. I only managed to get my main inline operational when the technician was here (which is important because my house alarm is linked to it),by taking the filter from another extension that is not as important.This is totally unsatisfactory, either Telkom store should carry all spares, or alternatively the technician should be issued with a comprehensive range of common parts. The poor man was embarrassed by his inability to fix a simple fault. Telkom should be ashamed.
