LKH*** Phone out of stock

I took-up a mobile contract on 27th September and it was approved on 2nd October. I was told the phone is in stock and will be delivered within 5 working days. I called on the 9th to follow up on my order and was then told the phone is out of stock and no-one knows when it will be in stock, even the manager I spoke to said she doesn't know. She promised to call me back the next day and she didn't call. Telkom as a business should be avoiding such stupid mistakes and run the business properly, how can they not know when the next stock will be in? Why should I wait for +2 weeks for a phone? Why doesn't anyone bother to contact me and keep me updated since this was not my fault?
