LITTLE OR NO TRAINING IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Whenever I leave the Telkom Mobile store in Tygervalley Centre (not Telkom Direct) I feel so emotionally abused, irrespective of who attended to me. Today was yet another case in point, when I entered to purchase a recharge voucher. Staff were doing stock-take and Enver was the only one on the floor. After I made my request, he seemed unsure of what to do, and spoke so softly it was most annoying. I told him repeatedly that I couldn't hear him. He allowed other customers to interrupt my transaction, without politely asking them to wait. It was my first time recharching my Telkom Mobile account, but he couldn't talk me through how it works. Eventually after finding out I was on contract and after charging it it to my contract, I said I don't want it charged that way, would rather pay cash, he was irritated, tried to turn it on me.

This was a very inhumane and undignifying encounter, and if Telkom insists on 's****ing the bottom of the barrel' to employ staff at this branch, at least make more effort to train your staff. People without a passion for communications have no business working in Telecommunications.

Please stop allowing your staff to abuse customers.
