Line Relocation: Third time unlucky

<p>I originally app**** for relocation of my line long before moving out and got a reference number. The last week before moving I followed up to confirm that everything is in order, only to be informed that there is no order open. After spending 45 minutes with the call centre I received a new reference number for the relocation. This relocation was cancelled by the technician, because he/she could not get hold of me. (However, no missed calls or unknown numbers on my phone!) I hoped that the third attempt would be fruitful, but Telkom could not find my new address. I had to ask my neighbour for his phone number and give that to Telkom to lookup my address based on his number. After spending almost 90 minutes with the call centre, I had a new reference number. This joy was however short lived since I simply received a voice mail from a technician one day ahead of the scheduled appointment that it is cancelled because Telkom cannot get hold of me and I must call the call centre again!</p> <p>Please answer the following:</p> <p>1. Why am I still being billed the full price for no service during the last two weeks?</p> <p>2. What is Telkom going to do about this relocation?</p> <p>3. Are there any plans to improve the systems and service delivery at Telkom or should I find a new service provider?</p> <p> </p>
