Line fault for 5months

Good day,<br> I have reported my ADSL line faulty for the past 5months now to no avail has the line been restored. I had a technician at my premises yesterday by the name of George telling me that he is going to change the port at the Telkom box and will be back I am still waiting for him. I have cancelled my Data with Telkom because of the problems I am having but it is not solving my internet problem because the line is not running on the speed I am paying for. The speed that it is currently running on is 405mb and I am paying for 2000mb.
