limited unlimited and lying staff

On the 10th of July I got a contract with 8ta, unlimited calls and unlimited data. I was then told that my account will be debited on the 30th of August as new contracts are debited the following month. On the 5th of August I got a text saying that Im nearing my credit limit. I ignored it cause I thought they were making a mistake- what limit when I took UNLIMITED CALLS and UNLIMITED DATA. 7th of August there was no network due to hardware outage- according to Telkom. I wasn't able to use my cellphone or landline- I got the raw deal. 8th August my number was interrupted and was asked to call 081180. I indeed did and spoke with Andiswa and she profusely apologised for the mess that my service was interrupted because I have reached my limit, and that it shows on their system that I missed payment when I haven't as I'm meant to pay end of August. I understood and thanked her and she gave me a reference number and said my service will be up and running in 24hrs.

36 hrs later my phone was still not working so I once again called Telkom and got a lady called Nono Seleka- might not be her real name. She said my services were cut off because I didn't pay and that I was over my limit. I said it was impossible for me to be over any limits cause I have an UNLIMITED subscription and I was told payment will be debited end of the month. She refused to be cooperative and basically imp**** ill have my phone's usage on the 1st of September after they have unsuspended the account. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they were all in a meeting and I then said i'll hold the line and wait for the managers to finish their meeting as I didn't have any other option- couldn't afford to not have my phone for a month. She went and came back to say the manager will call me back I asked for the managers numbers and she said it was Sibongile Malinga and I asked for a reference number to the call and she said it takes time to log a case, I said I will wait and she dropped the line on me.

I called back again cause I have nothing better to do, and need my phone working. I went through their Durban branch and I asked if a Nono was known or a manager named Sibongile, the response was no. Am still holding the line cause I explained the situation and Nozipho Makhaya went to get me an audience with a Lungelo Zikhali.....ill keep you posted
