LG G4 - Boot Loop - Faulty Device
I took out a (second) contract with Telkom approximately 14 months ago, I selected the LG G4 as the device (This was the device that was also strongly pushed on me by the sales representative)
Fast forward to November 28th 2017 the device refused to switch on, it would go to the start up screen, load and load and load and then turn off.

This is a known issue on the LG G4 and was a known issue on the device when Telkom pushed the product on me. I took the device to the Telkom Connect in Fourwars where I took out this and the initial contract and was told someone would call me within 2 days to discuss.
1 week later, no contact and I tried to call them. 32 calls to the number provided and no answer, returned back to the store, where I was told 'we are not allowed to answer phone calls". Which was a fairly frightening comment coming from a telecommunications company, but okay.
I was then told it would take 3 - 28 days to contact me. I asked for a contact number for the repair centre so that i could follow up directly. I was told they do not have a contact number and i was not able to contac them. Also frightening but okay.
Fast forward to today I received a call to state that the repairs would be R3450 (almost the cost of a new LG G4 Device) (Currently R4200) and that the repairs would not be covered.
Telkom has made this return unbelievable difficult, after selling me a device that is known to have issues and then refusing the cover the cost of repair.
Stay away everyone
