Less data for more money #cheating bundles

I am just curious and very unhappy. I have been buying the telkom 1gig freeme data bundle for about three years now, it used to be 1gig data, with some extra freebies for R99, then the price increased with 1 Rand to R100 for the 1gig freeme bundle. I did not mind as prices were bound to go up. But now, all of a sudden, on 21march 2020, one can only buy an 800mb freeme data bundle for R99. Which means that I will pay 1rand less BUT receive 200 mb less, so actually the data bundle is now more expensive. Are the network operators not supposed to make their Data more affordable? And I must add that this changes was not advertised nor communicated with any of the telkom customers that I know( who I recommend telkom to as the best and most affordable network)
