Leaving you in the dark

I have a Telkom e-mail account (telkomsa.net). I've realized on Monday as well as today (Tuesday) that I'm only receiving a few e-mails. I contacted Telkom this afternoon at 18h00 and they informed me that the e-mail server is down since yesterday and they don't have a eta to restore the service. The support staff also confirmed that Telkom has not informed their customers and will not inform them if it is up and running again. I (as Customer) must contact Telkom on a regular basis to get an update. I have very important e-mails that went missing and I did not even know the service was down.
