Landline off for over a month

My landline has been offline/down for more than a month - going on 2 months. I used your online fault reporting system and receive sms's to say you are paying attention to my line. Surely this cannot take over a month to repair??? I am terribly disappointed and wish there was another landline service provider to give you some competition and for you to up your game - from no service to working landlines.
