I'm writing on behalf a friend who lives in a townhouse complex in Bakerville Gardens Newlands, Durban. Every few months without fail the Telkom Landlines to all 15 apartments goes dead and takes weeks for Telkom to restore the service.

All retired elderly people live in this complex who obviously require their phones for medical emergencies et.

This is a ridiculous situation and its time Telkom sends out a competent team of technicians to ensure the problem is fixed once and for all.
