Land line phone out of order for 5 weeks now

Good day,<br> <br> My mother's phone has been out of order for more than a month now. Telkom gave a reference number (271crk260915 for phone number ***) and advised that it would take 7 days to repair. Ever since and after numerous telephone calls we are advised that they are \aware of the problem". It is still not working - this is unacceptable! We do not know who to contact any further and who will be able to assist us - without talking to a machine!! <br> Please bear in mind that this is the landline of a pensioner who is in need of her phone due to safety and security purposes - it seems that Telkom does not keep this in mind and does not help their customers - who are still paying their account (rent for phone). <br> <br> PLEASE HELP!!<br> <br> Regards"
