Lack of service stores

I bought a telkom mobile simcard a week or two after it started in south africa. I am based in tzaneen and i lost my ceellphone about moths ago, after replacing the phone when i had to do a sim swop i was told by the agent tha they do not do sim swops on line and i have to visit a telkom store which is more than 100km from where i live (tzaneen). when i called the customer line again i was told tha i can get help from any PEP Cell store and was told by PEP Cell employees in maake plaza that the dont do sim swops.

Is this the service im supposed to get from 8ta for being their client? Is it worth it to travel 100km for a sim swop?

I CALL FOR EVERYONE WHO IS USING THIS NETWORK TO CANCELL ANY CONTRACT OR SING NEW ONES BECAUSE TELKOM IS BASICALLY MILKING OUR FUNDS AND CANT GIVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN WE NEED IT. #8TAMUSTFALL

Hi Sikelelwa.
thanx for your response tought it does not seem to idicate or bring any better service, maybe aswers to the following questions will help other complainats too,
1. Since the closure of the closed telkom stores have you guys ever thought of where customers near the closed shops are going to get help? whats was your team's answer to that?
2. Does it make sense to anyone in the world to travel to travel 100km to make a sim swop that cost R5 or R10?
3. What special security measures are you taking about 8ta sim swops because all other south african cellphone networks are offering that service on the customer care line
4. Why is Telkom not getting into agreements with al the stores that are selling their products to be able to perform sim swops?
The telkom store in polokwane has been moved from the city centre to a new mall more than 8km fro the city centre, how accessible is it to all the customers? its wil cost me R200 to make a sim swop
