Lack of service for lesser affluent areas in terms of infrastructure development

We have been experiencing a inconsistent services from Telkom for YEARS. In our area (Pinati Estate) the internet would be working (at a reasonable rate) for a few months and then all of a sudden gets terrible ( sometimes it stops working completely or it gets to the point where webpages just don't load). This has been the norm for years and if Telkom would look into their history for the area it will definitely reflect that as the neighbors have been experiencing the same inconsistent service. Why do the affluent areas always get upgrades to their infrastructure and we sit the same outdated *******. The quickest speed available is 2mb and that's only on a good day. Please Telkom sort this out for our area and for similar. All we want is consistent service across the board not the favoritism where the Constantia's, Camps Bay, Claremont, Tokai, Platteklip always get preference then the masses get s****s.
