Lack of communication between departments

I changed banks & had difficulty with debit order switching-the new bank never did it, as they promised they would. I had to pay the money into my old account in order for the debit order to go off. I made sure the funds were available in order for the Telkom debit order to go off. It is a small amount of R89 & I did not keep track of the deduction. After 3 months an odd amount went off my bank account &when I queried it I realised that Telkom had handed my account over to a debt collecting agency without contacting me. Apparently they did not collect the money I had paid into my old account-I still don't know why.I went to the N1 City branch. They phoned the billing department & informed me that I had to pay R177 & my account would be paid up to date & my data reactivated. I had to take the deposit slip back to the store where it was updated on the system & a copy faxed to the relevant department. I left the store thinking everything was sorted. This was 11/05/2015.After that I received calls from the debt collectors informing me my Telkom acc.is in arrears.I spoke to the manager @ N1and she informed me that somebody would call to assist-STILL WAITING
